This exclusive event is designed for cycling enthusiasts eager to experience the challenge of the white gravel roads and ride through the stunning landscapes that make this race one of a kind.
Route Highlights
Monte Sante Marie: 11.5 km of gravel with rolling terrain and steep ramps up to 18%, making it the longest and most grueling sector.
Colle Pinzuto: 2.4 km of gravel with a 15% max gradient, combining tough climbs with technical descents.
Le Tolfe: A short but punishing 1.1 km gravel climb with sections hitting 18%, known for its sharp gradients late in the race.
Asciano Sector: 9.5 km of gravel through the stunning Crete Senesi region, challenging for its long, undulating nature.
Monteaperti: 0.8 km of gravel with a 7% gradient, steep and significant for its historical battlefield location.
Poggio alla Croce: 1 km of gravel, with an average gradient of 10% and sections up to 17%, testing endurance on sharp climbs.
San Martino in Grania: 9.5 km of smoother gravel roads, less technical but offering rolling hills that sap energy over time.
Radi Sector: 4.4 km of gravel with easier gradients but known for its fast and flowy nature through beautiful countryside.
Montauto: 4.4 km of gravel leading into Colle Pinzuto, a mix of moderate climbing and technical handling required.
Via Santa Caterina (Final Climb to Piazza del Campo):
0.6 km of paved road, averaging 9.5% and maxing at 16%, providing a steep, iconic finish into Siena’s medieval square.
