Join us for an incredible 5-day cycling adventure in the heart of the Dolomites, taking on the epic Maratona dles Dolomites Gran Fondo. This exclusive event offers you the chance to ride through one of the most breathtaking mountain ranges in the world, tackling iconic climbs and enjoying the unique culture of the region.


Participants will spend four nights at the fabulous Hotel Arkadia in Corvana, a stones throw from the finish of the Grand Fondo

Route Highlights

  • Passo Campolongo: A 6 km climb with an average gradient of 6%, offering moderate difficulty and beautiful scenery (Elevation: 1,875 m).
  • Passo Pordoi: A 9.2 km climb featuring 33 hairpin bends and an average gradient of 6.9% (Elevation: 2,239 m).
  • Passo Sella: A 5.5 km ascent with an average gradient of 7.9%, providing stunning views of the Sella Massif (Elevation: 2,244 m).
  • Passo Gardena: A 5.8 km climb with an average gradient of 4.3%, followed by a technical descent (Elevation: 2,121 m).
  • Passo Giau: A challenging 9.8 km climb with a relentless 9.4% average gradient (Elevation: 2,236 m).
  • Passo Valparola: A longer climb at 11.8 km, averaging a gentler 6.7% gradient, often with headwinds (Elevation: 2,192 m).
  • Mür dl Giat: A short but steep 0.4 km climb with gradients reaching up to 19% (Elevation: 1,518 m).

The Hotel

Hotel Arkadia is a luxury 4-star hotel located in Corvara, in the heart of the Dolomites. Known for its stylish design and warm alpine charm, it offers stunning mountain views, a relaxing spa, and easy access to the famous ski slopes and cycling routes of the region. The hotel is popular with outdoor enthusiasts, especially during the winter ski season and summer cycling months.


The hotel is located close to the finish line of the Grand Fondo.

Day 1

Thursday: Arrival and Welcome

  • Arrive in Venice: Transfer to your accommodations in a picturesque village in the Dolomites. Settle in and prepare for a weekend of extraordinary cycling.

Welcome Dinner: Meet your fellow cyclists over a traditional Ladin dinner, with a briefing on the weekend’s events and what to expect from the Maratona.

Friday: Acclimatization and Scenic Ride

  • Morning Ride: Get acquainted with the Dolomites on a guided ride, experiencing the region’s famous passes and stunning scenery.
  • Riding: 70km - Varied Terrain | 1500m climbing

Afternoon Leisure: Relax and explore the local area, perhaps visiting a nearby spa or enjoying a leisurely walk through the village.

Saturday: Explore the Dolomites

  • Scenic Ride: Take a slightly longer ride, exploring more of the Dolomites and preparing your legs for the big day ahead.
  • Riding: 60km - Rolling Terrain | 1200m climbing

Cultural Experience: Spend the afternoon learning about the local culture, with options like a visit to a mountain museum or a tasting of local wines and cheeses.

Day 4

Sunday: Maratona dles Dolomites Gran Fondo

  • Race Day Challenge: Take part in the Maratona dles Dolomites, one of the most beautiful and demanding Gran Fondos in the world.
  • Riding: 138km (long route) | 4230m climbing, with shorter options available.
  • Epic Climbs: Conquer legendary climbs like Passo Pordoi, Passo Sella, and Passo Giau, all while surrounded by the stunning Dolomites.

Post-Race Celebration: Celebrate your achievement with a festive meal, sharing stories from the day with the Rouleur team and fellow participants.

Monday: Recovery and Departure

  • Morning Recovery Ride: Enjoy a light recovery ride through the valleys, soaking in the last of the Dolomites' beauty.
  • Riding: 40km - Easy Terrain | 500m climbing

Farewell: Spend the afternoon relaxing before your evening departure, taking in the final moments of this unforgettable experience.
